THE PROBLEM
Just imagine, at 22 working days a month and 20 patient visits per day, a single healthcare provider could generate 440 HCFA-1500 claims a month. But they're not just HCFA claim forms, you must think of them as invoices. Invoices sent from you to the Payor are not paid for a number different reasons: (i) missing data elements, (ii) incorrect format, or the most frustrating one of all, (iii) "we never received your claims."
